We want you to be as comfortable as at home or more, to know that we take care of you and work every day so that once you arrive at Mas Ribas, you relax and enjoy a few days of care and rest.
We have put together a list of frequently asked questions that you often ask us. With them we try to provide you with as much information as possible in a simple and fast way. We hope they help you.
Exclusive use rental or room rental?
We offer you both options. Except from mid-May to mid-September. In the summer season we only offer the option of booking a private room. Remember that among our 7 rooms we have the novelty of the Llevant Superior Room which is equipped with a full kitchen.
What is the maximum capacity of the house?
The house has a maximum capacity for 20 people + 6 extra = 26.
What does exclusive use include?
When you reserve exclusive use of all rooms and facilities at Mas Ribas. It means that you will have all the spaces of Mas Ribas at your disposal. Depending on the capacity and agreed price, the number of available accommodations will vary.
From the parking lot where up to 15 vehicles can fit.
The 500 m2 garden, with natural grass, area with pergola, tables and chairs. 8×5 m2 swimming pool, basketball courts, soccer goals, ping pong table, barbecue, garden and chicken coop. All surrounded by apple fields, where you will have privacy, since it is located on the outskirts of the town.
Inside, on the first floor, you find the hall, the fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators, oven, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, everything you need to cook and a cleaning pack.
The living-dining room has a sofa and TV area, around a large fireplace; It is open to the dining room where there is a huge wooden table for 26 people. At the end of the room there is a bar-type counter with a chest refrigerator, where you can enjoy an afternoon after dinner.
On this floor is also the Canigó Room, our room adapted for reduced mobility (not for wheelchairs).
Going up the stairs, on the second floor, we find six rooms with private bathrooms, one of them with a terrace and a living room with a sofa and relaxation area.
You must keep in mind that we reside on the farm. Don’t worry because you will have the privacy of all the facilities. And you will have our help only if you need it.
What is included if I reserve a room?
If you book one or more rooms, you will enjoy the similar services of a hotel, where tranquility prevails. You will enjoy the privacy of the comfortable rooms.
When you arrive your room will be ready. All rooms are exterior with views of the town and apple fields or the garden and the mountains.
They all have air conditioning, heating, TV, private bathroom with shower, body wash, hairdryer and towels.
Likewise, every morning we will do a bathroom cleaning and replacement service. We prefer to keep your privacy and not collect the room or the bed. If your stay is more than 3 nights, on the fourth day we will change your sheets and towels.
Is there a damage deposit?
When is check-in and check-out?
Whenever possible, we will be flexible with schedules so that you can enjoy the house to the fullest. Normally we cannot confirm it until one day before your arrival and/or departure, as it will depend on whether we have more reservations. The default schedule is:
Check-in: from 3pm to 7pm
Departure: before 11 a.m.
Are visitors allowed?
Whether you rent a room or rent the entire room, you do NOT have the right to invite friends to use the pool or the rest of the facilities. We are required to take out civil liability insurance that only covers the capacity granted by Tourism.
If you expect to receive a visit during your stay, you must consult and pay the cost. Visitors will be accepted upon prior notice, registration and payment.
Pets Allowed?
Although we love animals, we regret that we cannot receive your pet. Due to good coexistence, logistics and characteristics of the house itself, it is very difficult for us to accept them. We can inform you of a dog daycare near the house.
Is there a kitchen for guest use?
If you reserve exclusive use of all rooms and spaces, this space will already be included.
If you book a room, we give you the option to reserve the use of the kitchen with a supplement per day.
It is the same kitchen as in the case of booking exclusive use, but in this case, it will be shared with other guests. The kitchen is fully equipped; it has:
- Two combi refrigerators
- Lockers and shelves for each user.
- Five-burner gas stove and oven
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- “Dolce Gusto” and Italian coffee maker
- Toaster
- Houseware and utensils
Frequently, you can find basic products that other guests have left behind. Just a five-minute walk away you will find a small supermarket and a bakery.
Do we have to provide our data?
Yes, all guests must register as travelers with the authorities, as well as pay the tourist tax of €0.66 per person per night.
There is WIFI?
Yes, there is wifi throughout the house. Also, if you come for work, teleworking, etc. You will have several places in the house to sit comfortably.
What is the pool like?
The pool is open all year round, it has a water cannon that gives it a wellness touch, we usually turn it on only in summer.
It is completely fenced, which makes it very safe for families, who can enjoy it quietly without worrying about the little ones in the house.
It measures 8×5 meters, about 40 m2. With a depth of 1.20 m in the shallowest area to 1.50 m in the highest. It is a pool treated with salt, so it will take better care of your skin and your swimsuits.
The hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., only for registered personnel.
What does breakfast include?
If you reserve a room, we give you the option to reserve the buffet breakfast.
A complete breakfast with local and quality products. A selection of typical sausages, cheese. Variety of breads, fruit, honey, butter, jams, milk, vegetable drinks, juices and sweet drinks, teas and infusions. Selection of pastries and cereals. In addition to quality coffee that we will serve you ourselves.
Service hours begin at 8:30 a.m. and the room closes at 10:30 a.m.
In addition, in summer we also offer takeaway pizzas. Ask us about the supplement for these services or visit our reservations section.
Do children and babies count?
Yes, babies are from 0 to 3 years old included, if you need it, we have several playpen cribs with sheets, with a supplement. Since we have a limited number of cribs, this service will remain subject to confirmation by us even if you have made the reservation for this service through our website.
Children from 4 years old have a full place.
Do I need to make a deposit to confirm my reservation?
Cancellation/modification will have no charge until 16 days before the entry date.
Between 15 and 8 days, you will have expenses of 50% of the down payment.
With 7 days or less, you will have expenses of 100% of the down payment.
In case of No Show (no show), there will be expenses for the first night.
For group reservations and/or exclusive use of all rooms, cancellation/modification conditions may vary.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation/modification will have no charge until 16 days before the entry date.
